So for Valentine's Day Gil and I arranged different things for each other! During the day we went to an open range zoo and got to see lots of super cool animals!
Such as...Zebras!
And ostrich!
Giraffes!
And the super cute Hippo!
Those were just some, we also saw Lion cubs and their momma, a snake, etc!
After that we came home to eat dinner and then went to a planetarium to see a screening of Musica, the Japanese science-art film! That was what I organized because Gil loves space. They had cheese and wines, the cheese was super yummy. We also got to hold some meteorites that were 4700 years old! I didn't get to take many pictures since I was enjoying it so much and the lighting was bad at night...but it was so awesome to go to the Planetarium!

So on Saturday night my boyfriend Gil and I went to see the new deadpool movie which I had been super hyped to see for months! I tried out Taylor R's recent heart braid hairstyle (although not really from her tutorial, she reminded me about the hairstyle which I'd seen Dakota Rose do quite a while ago).
I found it hard to do by myself but Gil helped me pin it properly and it turned out well in the end!
I got chocolate and a bouquet of roses!!! I was surprised he had time to get them for me since we live together and it would be difficult to hide!
So what made this movie date special is that they were screening Deadpool at a drive in cinema which are kinda rare nowadays! But we arrived and managed to secure a spot front and center!
With half an hour until the movie starts, we went and explored the food truck festival that was in conjunction with the screenings run by the Cinema and a short walk from the screens. For those who don't know because when I first came to Melbourne I'd never seen one before, a food truck is literally a truck and inside they have a kitchen and they serve food while mobile! There was lots to choose from...from fro-yo to Indian food! I got vegetarian samosas. There were about seven trucks if I remember correct?
We wanted to get some popcorn too so we went into building the cinema set aside for typical cinema snackage...
There were so many people though! The line extended outside...So it took a while but finally we were ready to see the flick!!!
We walked back to the car just in time to see only 2 remaining ads and the movie started!
I really enjoyed it, the humor was good and it really lived up to my expectations! Ryan Renolds was a good pick for the role despite my initial doubts. It was a nice change from the other Marvel movies which are a lot more dramatic...
It was a super romantic evening and all in all Deadpool is a must see movie!!! Have you seen it? What did you think?
Thanks for catching up with me,

So I landed in Bangkok last night and I spent my first day today discovering Siam Square and its surrounding areas.
Stumbled across a place called Hello Kitty House by chance!
A funny sign I saw as well while walking hahaha.
Pink traffic cones which were so cool and only made even better by the pink Thai taxis and Tuk Tuk vehicles on the road too.
A tuk tuk of which I rode with Dad to Jim Thompson's house to learn more about Thai history.
You're not allowed to take pictures of the artefacts but here's a picture of a pot in the garden outside.
And a picture of me outside the house as well.
Jim Thompson was born in 1906 and was an American architect who collected Buddhist and Thai art and furniture and made them popularised in the U.S. He disappeared at the age of 61 and what happened to him afterwards is a mystery.
I then did some shopping for an awesome hello kitty shirt and watch--
And here's the resulting outfit of the day:
After doing more shopping and finding circle lenses for only the equivalent of 4 AUD, I came back to the hotel to seek refuge from the heat and we had dinner nearby as well.
All in all a great day in Thailand! Didn't get to do as much as I wanted as I'm jet lagged but we are flying back to Indonesia tomorrow afternoonand then I leave back to Melbourne (home sweet home!) on Thursday...I'll try to fit in a Thai massage before then but maybe not at Miss Puke's.
Thanks for catching up with me! See you next time,
